Manus would like to recommend his favourite book which is ‘Tiddler’ by Julia Donaldson. He especially enjoys the pages with the scary fish in them.
We are sure others would love the story and also the colourful pictures.

One of my favourite books is Marvin Gets Mad! about a very angry sheep who grows all sorts of weird things when he gets angry! Great pictures and good fun!

My favourite book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.
I have read it so many times that I don’t need the book to tell the story now. Lovely illustrations and every child should have one!
I love all Percy the Park Keeper stories by Nick Butterworth. Another favourite of mine is Each Peach Pear Plum by Janet Ahlberg. Children love hearing this story as it mentions lots of fairy tale characters in one book.
Hello! at the moment Sophie and I are loving “More Pants” by Giles Andreae and Nick Sharrat. There are lots of colourful pants pictures which she loves, along with funny , repetitive rhyme – excellent for language development.
“Pants” and “More Pants” are loved by babies right up to P1′s!! For the older children a fun extended activity could be that they design their own pants and hang them on a string washing line!
Hi Claire
Thanks for the tip on your recent read “More Pants”
The children visit the libary every Monday for Rhyme Time so they will look out for it.
